« The room was really really nice. We stayed in the room with the round stain glass Window, which was really beautiful. Weâd travelled to the area to go to Chatsworth house for the Christmas market et cetera, which was great. Staff in the hotel were pretty friendly, more so in the restaurant than at the desk. The room was lovely although I would say that they need to change the carpet around the tub in the room as there were lots of water stains around it which spoilt the feeling of luxury...

« Nous avons eu la chambre N°1 qui est vraiment agréable avec un grand lit confortable. Idéal pour se reposer aprÚs une journée de marche.

The menu and choices were very varied. ( Maybe not too much choice if you dont eat red meat. ) The dining room is well set out and in the summer months

« Great house, spotlessly clean and brilliant location for walking and access to pubs and local shops.
Bathrooms were good, the downstairs shower is the most powerful shower I've ever been in!!
The kitchen had all the basics you need. Only thing we missed was having a freezer (we had to be very brave and have our G&Ts without ice)
Owner communication was great throughout our stay and sorted a problem with the heating really quickly.
The cottage backs on to one of the local pubs. Our visit...

« It's a lovely cottage in a lovely location with good facilities, including bathrooms up & downstairs and plenty of kitchen utensils. Good area for short or longer doggy walks, with a nice hill to climb nearby and pub across the road with a nice line in local beers.
Tim & Katrina (next door) are the perfect hosts - very friendly and helpful, while giving us room to enjoy our stay. Thank you both :-)
Be aware: it's an 'upside down house' with the main part of the property up some wooden stairs,...

« Amazing property, with a lot of quirky features. Could have done with some baking trays and the pans were quite small, especially the frying pan. People might struggle cooking a meal if 6 people occupied the property.
We had a slight issue with a faulty security light switch, but I left the owners a note.
Would probably book again as in a fantastic area. »
