The area the hotel is located in is beautiful, well kept and quiet. The staff was friendly, helpful and attentive. Great vacation spot. Water at the beach is a little rough. It’s still the ocean!

My fiance and I stayed at the property between 4/9/24- 4/14/24. The pros: clean, quiet, convenient beach access. The food is delicious, but expensive and portions were small (in our opinion) we spent $133 on dinner between just the two of us. The was the first and last time we ate on the property! Front desk staff was welcoming. We were happy with our room except that there were no curtains hanging up so people could see inside our bathroom! We asked for curtains and we were told they had none in stock. We asked for a different room, all they could offer us was a down graded room which we didn't want. So we stayed in the original room. The experience didn't ruin our trip, but overall we were not satisfied customers. Wish more could have been done to resolve the problem. Our at least offer us a free meal. Not sure if we will be back.

The whole stay my rom was flooded. All my clothes VERY expensive clothes are ruined. They accommodated me by giving back $30 which is nothing compared to my 1000 items. I mean if your going to be 1000 for 2 nights I would suggest being worth it or be dry !! Balcony doors was rusty, beds feels muggy and musty. People alway want you to be patient and give them grace but when it something urgent on your end they seem to be no hace in their movement. I was so mad and upset at my stay that I checked out extremely early like 6am to stay at the Hyatt hacienda Del Mar !! FAVORITE RESORT ON THE ISLAND, I love it there. In the process of leaving I left my laptop and switch, they had it no problem. My issue with this I when I told the manager that I had a flight at 12pm and the distance between these two resorts is like 2 hrs aways and it was 8:30am they wanted to help by shipping ???!!! HELLL NO. I went to retrieve my item, arrived around 10:15 AND Ofcourse i had to wait an extra 35 mins for SECURITY for my items. ONCE I explained that this is an urgent situation where I would miss my flight, I was quickly told to calm down !!! Ridiculous!!! I would never stay here again. I’ve been to PR 3 time and this is extremely a bad resort and charging HYAT stay prices. The only thing good about the resort is the alcohol beverages that taste like juice, their wings and truffle fries. The male bartender was really nice can’t remember his name but he hadblack hairand recommended the truffle fries.

Didn't like the fact that none of the rooms have microwaves. Usually, I'd bring food back to the room from wherever me and my family ate at and would re-heat. Can't do that here. Also, everything on the resort is cashless. Wasn't advised of this when I checked in. Found out the hard way, when I ordered food service and they told me they didn't accept cash upon delivery.

The food is expensive and isn’t that good. They charge 16 for one shot of alcohol and charge extra taxes on every thing. It’s an hour away from SanJuan. And they have literally no fun activities at the resort. If you are retired or just need a zen like vacation this is your place. I will not be returning.

Property was good and clean. Unfortunately when booking they omit the $49 / $50 resort fee that comes with the room. Also at booking we were offered free breakfast which we paid for, never did it state it was continental breakfast consisting only of breads, yogurt, fruit and juice. At the restaurant if you want an eggs, waffles or pancakes it was an additional upcharge. Service at the hotel restaurant was below average at best. Employees, specially in the morning just didn’t seem to care about providing any service whatsoever.

The resort is beautiful..and quiet. Much better at the end of the island other than San Juan which is very busy. Didn't want that kind of vacation. Short drive 45 minutes to San Juan. Which we didn't mind.. the resort is great and has everything Beach, pool, restaurants and stores nearby. What I didn't like is that the doors slammed to the rooms... what you heard often . Showers could be updated... When booking online you did not see any shower curtains. You saw glass doors. When I got to my room there was shower curtains. Other than that it was great.. staff is a very friendly and it's a beautiful resort. I would definitely stay there again. Thx

There were plenty of activities within the property. Easy access to the beach, two pools, bicycles, golf car rental, horseback riding on the beach. I recently stayed at this hotel and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The location was fantastic, offering stunning views of the ocean. While access to the ocean was available, it wasn't suitable for swimming most days. The staff were friendly, although the service at the restaurant was a bit slow. Additionally, the hotel was quite picky about towels for some guests, not allowing us to take them to the beach. On the bright side, we received 2 complimentary drinks at the bar, which was a nice touch. Parking was available at a safe lot, although it was not free. Overall, a solid choice for those looking for a scenic stay.

I had the best time in this resort and I am already planning to go back. They go above and beyond in their service. The beach was 5 min walking from my room and you can walk along it for hours. Pools and restaurants in the resort were great. The resort is located in an area with beautiful golf courses, a plaza, a small forest, and there is a Catholic Church. The hotel golf carts bring you to all these places as a complimentary service.

We loved everything about our stay there. Overall, the resort amenities, staff, and activities exceeded our expectations, we absolutely loved it! The only thing I didn't like/expect was a $15/day parking fee which wasn't communicated to us when we checked in.

We had an excellent time during our trip to Puerto Rico and we are very glad that we chose the Wyndham Palmas Del Mar. The staff was wonderful and we appreciated all of the amenities. It would be useful to have more than one trashcan in the guest rooms. Otherwise, our day was ideal. Thank you!

My interaction on a day to day was good friendly staff. Now as for the front desk staff they are not very knowledgeable. I was told that any charges would come from the $200 hold on my credit card. When I checked out I was not only charged $200 on my credit card but I was also charged an additional $256 on my credit card. Not something I was expecting. They told me call your bank and my bank stated they could not do anything and that the merchant would have to fix the issue. Whyndham informed me that they had no idea why I was charged twice! Not the response I was looking for. I will never stay here again and highly recommend for you to ask over and over these questions if you do not want to be doubled charged.
