« The positive first: A very nice and helpful lady is the keeper of the place. Unfortunately the negative is heavy. Everything is very old, the room is small, the mattress is terrible, the tiny bathroom is smelly and a major noisy road passes 100 meters away. The breakfast is not on site but in a coffee shop on the other side of the busy road. « The property is large and spacious. The floors were not clean. Cobwebs on furniture inside and out. Furniture is very dated and uncomfortable as per previous reviews. There are screws falling off the kitchen chairs. If the owner would update the furniture inside and out it would be perfect. The outside bins were both full. Overall, for the money we paid it was disappointing. »

« Quaint and cute guesthouse with amazing scenery and history. Rooms were decorated beautifully in theme with the historic background but with some nice modern twists. Although we only stayed for one night they were so helpful and had every resource we needed, we didn’t get to eat at the lovely cafe on premises but were provided with a delicious continental breakfast. Can’t wait to come back with more time to take in and explore all there was to see. »

« We had a great stay at Pindari House. Beautiful scenery even tho it was dry. Monika is so lovely and helpful was very relaxing. Quite close to everything we wanted to do. I would stay here again. The only thing is to make sure when you book a room it has an en-suite. We didn’t have done but we were fortunate that the other people who we had to share with didn’t come til the second day so it was great. Oh and the breakfast was amazing and home cooked by Monika. »

« Great modern property and location was the best we have experienced in the Hunter to date. Would have been 5 starts all round, except upon arrival we had a drainage issue in one of the bathrooms (which happens), and the smell was horrible.
