„Loved the hut, enjoyed our stay. I brought a 3 course meal with me. So no need to eat out! Lovely and cosy. I would have liked a small saucepan to do porrige in morning. We managed with a big one!! I also wasnt good with lighting the gas rings. I would prefer a long lighter . And no hooks for towels when wet out of shower. In bedroom there were a few cobwebs and spiders in nooks and crannies. Whilst not scared, I felt these had been on ceiling and edges for some time. However bed very cosy. ...

„Set in beautiful private land, with fantastic views of the countryside and swimming lake, very warm and high quality private bathroom and hut. Great Hot tub looking at the stars, great veranda. Electricity in the hut and shared communal fridge and freezer, as well as your own fridge and microwave. Host let us bring out own fire pit and lent us a toaster, as none in the hut. Good points: well furnished; great outdoor space with sun for most of the day, including sunsets; good range of outdoor furniture; great bathroom and shower; comfy bed. Points to improve: a few cobwebs which we got rid of on arrival but would not have expected to have to do so; no microwave - one was listed on the vrbo listing; no separate sink in the food prep area - we had to use the bathroom sink - not ideal. „The most idyllic cosy weekend retreat. We absolutely loved our stay fully immersed in nature with just the sound of birds, rain and the crackling fire in our cosy shepherd’s hut for the weekend. Breakfast in bed was perfect thanks to the supplies Becca kindly left for us. Watching the sunset and moon rise against a sky full of stars each night was also very special. We will definitely be back! Thank you “
