„Vom alten Glanz des Hotels ist nicht viel übrig geblieben. Die Zimmer weisen zwar nach wie vor schöne tibetische Wandmalereien auf, müssten aber dennoch aufgefrischt werden. Die Fensterrahmen wurden so lieblos neu bemalt, dass auch das Fliegengitter Farbe abgekriegt hat, was einen schmuddeligen Eindruck hinterlässt. „We had a wonderful stay at Echor Tree Mandara Village. The hotel was beautiful, very clean, great location and kind staff. Rooms were very comfortable and spacious, and the restaurant was delicious. It also has a beautiful view of the mountains and Dharamshala. Highly recommended and will be staying again when back!“

„Das Hotel ist schön auf einem Hügel in einem Wald gelegen. Daramasala sowie Dharamkot (kleiner Ort mit Hippieflair) können jeweils in 10 - 15 Minuten zu Fuss erreicht werden. Der Service im Hotel ist sehr gut und auch das beheizte Schwimmbad ist an kalten Tagen sehr zu empfehlen. Es gibt leider nur ein Restaurant. Indisches Essen ist dort gut (aber nicht herausragend). Von anderen internationalen Speisen (Pizza, Dumplings, etc.) sollte man dagegen die Finger lassen. “

„Really enjoyed staying at Mount View. I was visiting for a month and enjoyed my room and waking up to the amazing mountain view every morning. The room had everything I needed, and the hotel was set in a perfect location in the city near everything. The staff was always kind and looked after me and couldn't do enough to make my stay pleasant. I would definitely not stay anywhere else if I returned to Dharamshala.“
