« Melfort Village is terrific. Beautiful setting and marvellous accommodation. There is a pool, tennis court, putting green, restaurant /bar (great food)and lots of space. The staff are great, enthusiastic and helpful.Walks in the nearby hills or to the lochs. « This was our first visit to the West Highlands and we were not disappointed. A beautifully maintained resort within a spectacular setting. We had planned to visit the islands during the week but found so much to do locally we decided to save the islands for a future visit. « The setting is idyllic in lovely peaceful surroundings, nature all around. The cottage is large, airy and bright and everything you could need was provided. Although quite a distance from Oban, the main road was pretty quiet and a pleasant drive. The pool was an added bonus, but the sauna wasn't working. We were there on the hottest weekend of the year, so didn't need the sauna. »

« Caravan is lovely and comfortable, though can be noisy in stormy weather, though otherwise it's a quiet location. Drive is quite steep for parking. Fantastic views over Loch Long. Access drive is a single road, is quite steep in places and it can be tricky to find the caravan. »

« We stayed only two nights. The property is about 30 minutes outside of Oban at the edge of a smaller loch and just outside a small village. The staff was very accommodating and helpful, including when we had an issue (likely self-inflicted) with a washing machine. We would definitely stay again, and make time to stay longer and enjoy more of the area as well as the property’s many amenities. Strongly recommended. »
