« Our hosts were very welcoming and attentive. The location is very remote so you need to know you’ll be driving for any restaurants , etc. The check in process was not good BUT that was an Expedia/VRBO issue because they sent incorrect lock box and code info. « This is a lovely property and our ratings would be lower were it not for the incredible breakfast prepared & served by Aiden (not sure of his position relative to the owner, Joyce). Aiden also provided very helpful information about Galway. « What a wonderful visit!I was in Ireland for the funeral of my uncle. Theresa and John welcomed my family members before I even arrived as they were in Ireland before me. The home was as beautiful, comfortable, warm, clean, and steeped in great history. It suited our needs perfectly. « Le site et le château sont magiques. On vit dans un château de 500 ans, ce qui est insolite. On a un très beau souvenir de l’expérience. Vue magnifique sur près de 360 degrés. On doit gérer un peu l’humidité avec feu de foyer et chaufferette. Mobilité réduite: s’abstenir! Car effectivement, dans une tour, il a y a des escaliers. Le point négatif est que la vaisselle était plus ou moins propre et on a dû laver avant d’utiliser ainsi que les accessoires (bouilloire, chaudrons,…) »

"L’hôtel est extrêmement bien placé pour visiter Dublin à pied. En revanche la chambre n’était pas très propre et il y avait même des morceaux de verres pres du lit. Le personnel a réagit pour nettoyer la chambre mais c’est dommage d’avoir du demander"

"Il est impossible de s’arrêter en voiture près de l’hôtel pour y déposer ses bagages et les parkings alentours sont tres chers (3€/h ou 21€/jour) et cela pose vraiment problème. L’hôtel est tres bien, les petits déjeuners variés et copieux et les chambres parfaites et climatisées."

"Dommage que la navette promise à l'arrivée à l'aéroport n'était pas au rendez vous. Nous étions plusieurs clients à attendre pendant plus d'une heure pour certains, 45 mn pour nous et sommes allés à pied à l'hôtel qui heureusement n'était pas distant de l'aéroport (d'où notre choix)."
