« Byecross is a beautiful house in a beautiful setting and have loved our time there. The home is very welcoming and this is also reflected in the hosts fantastic communication. Outside space offers so much more than anywhere else I’ve stayed and means you never need to leave property as all there. « Fantastic location for hikes and getting around the island. The house was a great size for 8 adults with the ground floor bedrooms being excellent for old people. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need if you wish to cook and plenty of crockery and cutlery. The only issue we had was that whilst two of the baths in 2 bathrooms (one upstairs and one downstairs) have showers attachments it is difficult to use as a shower as you have to hold the shower attachment whilst trying to...

« We've just spent a few days over New Year at Victoria House. We were a party of 6 adults and 6 older teens and the house was ideal for us. Plenty of space, a games room and separate small living room, well stocked kitchen, super comfy beds and plenty of bathrooms. Bembridge is a great location, the village has a brilliant and friendly pub (The Old Village Inn), a good Coop, pharmacy etc. It's also walking distance to the harbour, and beach. Roger is a great host, he answered all our questions...

« Easy to find, beautifully decorated, very comfy bed and great shower. Lovely views over the Solent and great enclosed garden for the dogs. Short walk to Waitrose and to chain ferry for Cowes. »

« We stayed in this housr from 24-27/8/2024, and while we were looking forward to the experience, we were disappointed by the demeanor of the host. She treated us with a dismissive attitude and made us feel unwelcome. For example, when I asked about the ferry discount, as was advertised, she was curt and condescending. She lied about the ticket prices. This behavior significantly impacted our stay, making it uncomfortable and less enjoyable. More over and after we checked out she verbally insulted...

« A beautiful house full of fabulous art deco. We all felt very relaxed there and able to enjoy the house and all it had to offer. Fabulous location, ideal for all the family to explore the beaches and local towns. We had everything we needed and thoroughly recommend. »

« We loved the space the seven of us had in the seaside home - even had room for my morning yoga. Great location for getting into Ventnor on foot and Bonchurch beach was easily walkable. Only downside was the road leading to Shanklin, but that was also handy for our day trips. »
