« Great views from the bedroom towards the sea (apart from the infamous Shanklin lift shaft). Sun rise while lying in bed was fantastic to see. Staff were great and the food was good. Although some areas were a little worn and could do with a bit of TLC, it was very clean and tidy. »

« We had a wonderful stay in Shanklin. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The beach view was beautiful and relaxing, especially in the evening. We also loved how close the hotel was to the national park and nature walks. Overall, it was a peaceful and enjoyable trip and we would definitely stay here again. »

« Unfortunately the room requested was not available as we had our small dog with us so were allocated a dog friendly room which was fine but it only had a 4’6 bed which really is not expected these days. Following the downgrading of the room by the hotel and being advised that the room requested would be cheaper. The new price unfortunately was not honoured despite numerous requests for a refund so overall not the best experience. »
