„Perfect for a weekend getaway! Just 15 miles from historic downtown Jefferson where we spent the days. Then back to the cabin on Lake of the Pines to watch the sunset on the porch of the cabin. So quiet the only noise was the birds at the water and the squirrels chattering and playing. “

„The cabin was so clean and inviting! We chose this cabin because it had two bedrooms with King size beds. The mattresses were very comfortable. The room my husband and I stayed in had a wonderful storage piece so we could hang our clothes and unpack our suitcase and place all our items so we didn’t have to keep getting into our suitcase. We also wanted a kitchen where we could have a refrigerator to store beverages to keep cool and for various snack. The cabin has a nice balcony that looks on ...

„We were beyond happy with the cleanliness of the property and the accuracy of the description. Everything was as described - they even had a crate, dog bed and bowls for our pup. We had ample supplies - plenty of towels, basics and even charcoal for the grill! We will be going back.“

„Very nice well kept tiny house. We felt very comfortable and slept great. It had a great little deck overlooking a pond. Only a couple of minor issues - the house is pretty close to the highway so there was some road noise but a fan in the bedroom provided enough white noise to cover it. Also, be aware the cell service was limited. We have ATT and were not able to use cellular. The house does however provide wifi with internet so one can utilize that for texting and wifi calling. „The cabin was very comfortable and well-furnished. Plenty of hot water and a good shower. The air conditioner worked particularly well. The location was just what we were looking for—on the banks of a slough that connected to Big Cypress Bayou. We were able to put in right by the cabin, but we weren’t bothered by the boat traffic out on the bayou. “

„There is almost no where to stay in Gilmer, but this cabin was perfect. You can hear the road noise, but it’s really not horrible. We have family of 6, with kids between the ages of 1-14. Everyone had their own bed, and our older kids thought the loft was really cool. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. The A/C works great. My kids enjoyed walking the property too. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to visit family. “
