« Great stay, wonderful and friendly hosts. Only note (and very minor note) is that the cabin is closer to their main house than it seems to be on the listing. It's a kind of detached guest house, but only a few feet from their house. That being said, they were very gracious and left us with space to enjoy a quiet cabin getaway; I saw Lois once at the beginning of the stay (she was very friendly and thorough) and then didn't see anyone else the entire time. Wonderful place and area. »

« Our experience at this cottage was extremely disappointing. After driving for 4 hours, we had to clean for two hours before unpacking to make it a bit more acceptable. Where do I begin, the cottage was very dirty and so are the pots and pans left there to be used by the guests. The kettle on the stove was filled with dirty rusty water, the cast iron pans were greasy and dirty, the table, chairs and wall behind the stove were very sticky. We rented a cottage with a dishwasher thinking we did...

« Good, Kirk was great. The entry door lock did not work and I think the rugs could use a cleaning especially the back bedroom. Keep in mind that this property is 25 minutes from Rangeley Village. All in all a great stay and I do recommend it. »
