« The house was adorable in a quiet neighborhood just outside Kennett Square. We stayed for a lacrosse tournament and we were only 5 min from the fields and 5 minutes from many dining options. The house was well stocked with what we needed to cook while we stayed and the rooms were comfortable. We had two families and had plenty of space. We would definitely stay here again! »

« Home was beautiful…. bathrooms were clean and the towels were very nice…there was 5 of us. We had plenty of room ……bedrooms were beautiful… there was a back porch it was nice. »

« What a gem of a property! The views are stunning—luscious farms and land. The outdoor space is phenomenal. Sit back a relax around the fire pit. Take a sauna if you need more relaxation. Best of all, I enjoyed the company of cows. »

« We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Walton House. The house itself is a nice combination of old and new (the stairs being one of the old. If you have mobility challenges, that might be the only concern about staying here), blended to maximize the visitor’s comfort. Well-considered design, especially the lighting and efficient air conditioning. The bedding is extremely comfortable, and it was a pleasant surprise to find loads of extra pillows. The amenities are definitely higher-end than...

« It was a lovely home in a great location! It was close to the train and within walking distance or a short drive to lots of restaurants & shops. The rooms had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay! »

« We enjoyed our stay and loved strolling down the lane and seeing the horse and goats! We sat out back on the porch and enjoyed that space as well! Super cute decor and clean. We were in town visiting friends so this place worked out excellent as there were 3 of us so was a great cost effective, comfortable stay. This is on a shared property but was private space to relax and inviting! We would definitely stay again if ever in the area!!! »

« The dome and surrounding areas looks like it does in the photos, and using the compost toilet, shower, etc were pretty easy even for a camping novice like myself. The farm is beautiful and quiet. Good opportunities for birding too. I never saw or heard the gentlemen who live in the farmhouse, I only saw their cars come and go. I came here for rest and a connection to nature, and that’s what I got. I’d love to come back in the future! I think it would be even nicer later in the spring. »

« Suite was perfect, clean and in a beautiful neighborhood. The host was wonderful and left us delicious blueberry muffins for our first morning there. We came for Longwood garden, it did not disappoint. Plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. »

« The esthetics where beautiful! However, for better meal experiences the kitchen chairs where not so comfortable felt like they wouldn't hold up. They did, which was good. Otherwise everything else was very comfortable. »

« The setting is beautiful. We stayed in the mill. It is an old building that was remodeled. An over-all quaint experience with all the modern comforts. The stairs to the room are steep and i wouldn't recommend them for anyone elderly. My husband and 11yo loved it's rustic charm. Wish our schedule allowed more time to check out the farm and walking trails. »

« My friends and I were very happy with our stay at this quaint country getaway, along with it’s authentic 1800s atmosphere. The owner was very quick to get back to me with all of my concerns, which was very much appreciated . With All of that being said, I just want to prepare anyone that may be staying there, If you are a light sleeper or need privacy, do not take the room at the top of the stairs. You will not get privacy or sleep. Lol! The slightest complaints I would have would be there...

« The host and actual apartment are great - clean, nice bathroom, the host was so friendly and left amazing treats, including a surprise for breakfast. The neighborhood was not great, and unfortunately was the only bad part about this stay. Otherwise I'd give 5 stars and would definitely stay with this host again. »
