„The setting is north-facing, to bush and a rocky-bedded stream. Apart from the occasional sound from some friendly animal, you hear burbling water and wind in the trees. Inside everything is ‘proper’ and well maintained. The fire has copious supplies of dry wood replenished daily, from trees on the property. The couches are comfy and the kitchen is well-appointed. Ōkaihau is 10 or 12 kms away and has cafes and stores. It is a lovely small traditional NZ town. Village? The location is convenient ...

„Beautiful property, loved the peaceful setting and convenience to so many local attractions. Our kids loved the outdoor area, perfect place to come back to and relax after a busy day sightseeing. Linda was so welcoming and we had an amazing holiday!“

However, lower bedroom still has damp musty smell and we had no wifi and no Netflix as modem had failed and needed replacing. Property manager responded immediately to internet problem and replacement arranged. Read comments about noise from ferry wharf but we did not find this intrusive.“
