This was the worst vacation of my life and I’m not young.1. The house was 2 1/2 blocks from the beach.No view whatsoever.2. The various local public access points were very difficult to maneuver with gear - especially if you have ANY mobility issues.We had a great beach wagon that we could barely get up the hill.It made it difficult to even want to go to the beach. 3. The house was filthy - there was visible dust on some of the walls. Horrible for allergies.The furniture was from the 1970’s. The beds were horrible.One of the queens squeaked so badly it would wake us up.There were 3 couches in the living room which Looked fine at first glance. Only one was functionally usable. We had to load the other two up with every pillow and blanket in the house to make it tolerable- so no one wanted to sit in them -So there was nowhere to gather.The dishwasher was broken -Which we had to learn the hard way after loading 3 days of dishes - and having to hand wash them all.The kitchen sink drips unless you position the handle just so…The house was only big enough for 3 people. It is tiny. We were 5 people and totally cramped.On the plus side - we never ran out of hot water…And when we arrived the chairs on the porch had disgusting shredded 50 year old “cushions”…and the maintenance man had the initiative to leave and go straight to the store and buy new ones. Those at least made it pleasant to sit on the porch.Don’t rent this house.
