« This was the best stay on our 14 days in Japan! The hospitality was above and beyond our expectations. Truely five stars! Manager Mr. Mamiya Haruhi and his staff welcomed us and attended to our every needs, again above and beyond our expectations. Food and service were of highest quality. The hot springs were relaxing. Although steep, the area around this traditional Japanese hotel was very walkable. We only wish we had stay more than one night. »

« This property is lovely! It is pretty remote, but there is an hourly shuttle bus to and from Kashikojima train station if you want to do anything off property. The food is pretty pricey and there is a cost for most activities. The onsen is beautiful. All in all I would recommend staying here. »

« As far as the staff and property and room is concerned, I give this place a 10+++. You cannot find better service and staff in all of Japan. However, the only complaint is for Americans. The breakfast is very Japanese and very limited. Also very crowded on the weekends. If you want to use the pool, you need to make an appointment for 60 minutes and the pool is always very crowded with families and children.
