Gut: Sauberkeit
I’d never visited the Outer Banks, and I wasn’t sure which town was “the best”. Seeing a review about the indoor pool here grabbed my attention! It’s winter, and I didn’t want my kids to feel bored. I immediately loved the main level…the lighting was bright but soft. From the porch, I felt grateful to see the ocean. Our daughter loved her bedroom with the fireplace heater, and she said the bay window in my bedroom was awesome. The walkable ramp that leads to the beach was about a one minute walk from us (and accessible from our little community). Tennis courts were about a 30 second walk away. A couple days were in the 40’s so the clubhouse was our go-to spot. Big indoor pool with a comfortable temperature, hot tub right next to it, and beautiful sauna my whole family enjoyed. My son and husband played pool and ping pong. We drove the straight road to Corolla, visited the Currituck Lighthouse (so cool! Cooler than I imagined!) and then drove my 4x4Toyota Tacoma ON the beach. Driving on the beach was my personal favorite experience of my life. I recommend reading the safety recommendations, learn how to lower your tire pressure, work through the fear, and GO FOR IT. This condo helped make our Thanksgiving a truly special occasion for our little family.
