Prinzipiell sehr mit gut kleinen Detailmängel.
Es war eigentlich alles bestens, bis auf das Detail, dass das Hotel mit kostenlosen Parkplätzen wirbt. Das stimmt nicht !! Bei den kostenlosen Parkplätzen handelt es sich um die Strassenparkplätze vor dem Hotel !! Und diese waren natürlich besetzt ... Ansonstens war alles bestens. Die Lage des Hotels ist zentral. Die Zimmer sind neu und modern eingerichtet. Das Personal ist generell sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Bei der Ankunft noch ein kleines Detail ... die Damen an der Rezeption wollte nur Ukrainisch reden, obwohl ich nur Russisch oder Englisch spreche. Aber dabei handelt es sich um ein generelles Spracheinstellungsproblem derjenigen in der Ukraine, die Ukrainisch sprechen. Da müssen sie noch viel lernen bis sie wirklich europäischem Standard entsprechen.

Das Hotel befindet sich in einem hervorragenden Zustand und ist sehr gepflegt. Die Lage ist sehr gut, das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Es ist natürlich nicht als Urlaubshotel konzipiert, aber als Ausgangspunkt zur Besichtigung Kyiv‘s hervorragend geeignet! Für ukrainische Verhältnisse hochpreisig, im Vergleich zu anderen Europäischen Hotels aber vollkommen adäquat. Ich lege Wert darauf, egal wo, nach einer anstrengenden Stadtbesichtigung eine angenehme Atmosphäre zur Erholung vorzufinden und das erfüllt das Redisson Blue. Interessant ist der Versuch, den Gästen nur einen Zugang zu der Etage zu ermöglichen in der sich ihr Zimmer befindet. Durch das einlesen der Zimmerkarte im Aufzug gelangt man ausschließlich in seine Etage. Da wir zwei Zimmer in zwei verschiedenen Etagen hatten musste man ständig mit zwei Karten durch das Hotel laufen, da man ansonsten noch nicht einmal in die Etage des jeweils anderen gekommen wäre , also mit Kindern aufgepasst!

Fantastic, despite of war
Before Russia invaded Ukraine, this hotel had fantastic service. Even after the Russians entered the country and all of Kyiv was in panic mode, they had their doors open and provided great service. Ever since it has been a sanctuary in Kyiv with good breakfast, fast Wi-Fi, nice rooms and in the center of town, close to everything. I really love this hotel and it’s staff.

I stayed at this location for business purposes . The location is on a great spot : walking distance from many good restaurants and from many historical locations . Personnel at reception was good and efficient , but some details left me not completely satisfied . I booked through Expedia , hoping to get benefits from the " VIP program " .. Well.. my room wasn't upgraded , even if the hotel was not completely full . Nothing was offered ,I left my room at 9.00 AM , I returned at the hotel by 15.00 PM and pm was not cleaned yet . I was tired from a day at work and I didn't want to wait , so I kept it as was .Breakfast is top quality and with a great varietal and service . Unfortunately the gym isn't accessible , but the hotel does not disclose this detail until booking is done .And I choose the place because of a gym on the spot .I am often in Kiev and , most likely , I will be back to this property, but I d rather choose some same level accomodation with more attention to details .

Radisson Kyiv is pretty nice
For 115.00 USD was a great price. Super location and could walk everywhere. Nice rooms. Breakfast is expensive though at 27 dollars but many other options. Great deal for the money and nice hotel!

The thermostat was a bit difficult to work with. I believe there were scheduled (probably remotely controlled but not too sure) settings that I couldn't override. I wanted the temperature to be 20 degree celsius but the thermostat, after half hour or so, jump to 22.5 degrees, making the room a bit hot. I noticed my corner neighbor kept his window open (presumably for the very same reason as I mentioned).

Exceeded Our Expectations
The hotel was fantastic. It was very clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We were outside a busy street any barely heard anything. The staff was very helpful with any questions we had and gave us the info for mobile COVID testing which was very convenient. The location is great. Walking distance from restaurants, pharmacies and major landmarks. We highly recommend it.
