„I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this small apartment conveniently located in downtown Downieville. Great views of the town below and surrounding mountains. The lodging was very clean and comfortable with a quiet atmosphere conducive to relaxation. As previous reviewers have mentioned the driveway up to the house is very steep so make sure you have decent tires and put your car in low gear before heading up the road! I would be happy to stay here again next time I make it to Downieville.“

„Our Host Kelly was very helpful in finding the residence in Quincy. My GPS got me to the town, but was not accurate in finding the street. Kelly got us there with no problem. The showers were great, good pressure and plenty of hot water. She had a fire going in the woodstove when we arrived to be sure we were warm, probably because the evenings were cool in the early spring.
