« Well-appointed cottage that was once a stable block. Very nicely renovated with all the essentials that you need in a vacation home. Welcome pack (including a small bottle of milk!). Comfortable bed. Wood burning stove plus electric heaters. Set on its own behind the main house, it is visited by sheep grazing on common land and deer coming down to visit. Beautiful part of the country and well recommended for those wanting tranquility and calm (no tv!). »

« Alors que nos bagages avaient été perdus, le cottage nous a permis néanmoins de passer un formidable séjour et de profiter de nos vacances. Il est très confortable, très très bien équipé (incroyable cuisine) et on se sent très vite comme chez soi. Le cottage est encore mieux que sur les photos et la véranda est un vrai plus ! Le jardin est magnifique ainsi que la vue depuis le 1er étage. C’est très calme et reposant. Nous avons bien pu profiter des environs et avons fait beaucoup d’excursions...

« Was great to just chill out, never looked at my lap top, whisky, walked dog on great beach, just chilled out, property was ok, log fire, good for the soul »

« Ideal location in centre of Dornoch near golf courses and town square. Well appointed space for a group of friends each wanting there own space. Modern decor and appointment in a traditional building with its own garden space and off street parking. »

« The cottage was very comfortable, well equipped and nicely decorated with a warm atmosphere. Wonderful views of moorland and mountains from every room in the house and view to the sea from the garden. The house is ideally placed close to the Stoer lighthouse and for many wonderful walks ,kindly recommended by the owner , in the wild nature of the Highlands at close distance or directly from the house, »

« The only thing that really upset us around iur stay was when we were using tbe hot tub and garden area a local women came around and started shihting at us in her PJs to keep the noise down. »

« Superb property! The views from the balcony over the Dornoch Firth were just lovely. The cottage is so comfortable and really well equipped, with everything and more that you need! »

« Gastgeberin ist super nett und hilfsbereit. Haus entspricht der Beschreibung. Zu fünft herausfordernd, da es kein gemeinsamen Essbereich gibt. Ansonsten Landschaft, Wildness hervorragend »

« One of the most beautiful place in this world !!The heating system is quite hard to deal with. What brought a lot of times (day and night) in a cold house. Even with setting the heating on more than 2 times a day. »

« Lovely location as a base to explore the North West coast of the Highlands. Spacious house, good wood burner, good sized rooms, well equipped kitchen with all you'd expect. My only complaint would be a lack of some sundries, such as there were only a few toilet rolls between us 7 adults and 2 children - 2 out of the 3 bathrooms we used ran out of toilet paper. We also felt they were a bit stingy with laundry detergent - something which again we ran out of and had to buy our own. The other...

"Très bon Accueil, dans l’ensemble propre, chambre face au lac neuve, paisible. Petit déjeuner correct, manque un peu de choix. Salle de bain ok mais chauffe eau electrique dans les cabines face au lac, manque de pression. "

"Je mets clairement 5 étoiles pour remonter la note de cet hôtel qui ne mérite pas une note si basse. Je crois qu’une rénovation récente a eu lieu ; en tous cas il était très bien ! Un parking super équipé (prises véhicules électriques, emplacements moto, garage à vélo fermé à clé…). Petit déjeuner très correct et varié. Service attentionné. Le seul bémol : une très grande salle de bains bien vide : il mériterait quelques tablettes ou meubles en plus pour poser ses affaires ailleurs qu’au sol ; mais sinon franchement correct !"
