very bizzare hotel - horrible stay
it was just a nighmare : i had a room with a very low ceiling and with my medium size of 1,72meters i can touch the ceiling with my fingers !!! i never see such inconfortable room as you feel scratched by this ceiling. They forget to mention on the website they don't have lift for my room and i have a very bad leg. The TV is small compared to others hotels, no wifi in rooms and at reception (they just bring a phone to connect and read your emails - very slow ). They said it's impossible to have wifi and for me it's not true : they are at 2 kms of the road and i have been to a real wilderness lodge very remote near craddle mountain which have an excellent wifi. Almost no furniture and very low windows touching the floor but when you stand up you don't see the sky : only the grass downstairs. They made theses rooms in an old building and they didn't respect the layout and didn't put the windows at the right level : so everybody can see you in your bed, your shower, your toilets and you don't have a great view as the window is too low and far from the ceiling. So very disturbing and annoying. Never see such disturbing and horrible room. The target of the owner was to make as much possible rooms in this old building and it's why ceilings are too low and windows have a very bag position giving a view from downstairs to your bathroom and bedroom. They also said there is always somebody at reception but when i tried to call : i just get many times the voicemail - services are bad
