„We loved our stay in Tahoma! This cabin is so charming, well loved, and cared for. The cabin was very clean, bikes were in perfect condition, and the electric grill seemed like it had maybe never been used. We loved listening to CDs in the morning and watching VHS movies at night. Perfect location to lots of west shore beaches and trails. Couldn't recommend it enough!“

„Arrived late to our VRBO, found cleanliness to be poor. Listing was listed a no pets, found pet and human hair throughout, however worst was all the bedding, sheets and pillows. Housekeeping did come with fresh sheets at 10pm. Management had no consideration to even a partial refund, or moving us to another room. Communication slow and non accommodating. Not sure why they couldn't at lease remove my cleaning fee, when it wasn't cleaned before we arrived. “

„The cabin was perfectly comfy and cozy. It was just enough room for my wife and I, plus our little dog. The cabin was decorated nicely, nothing too fancy, but it was very accommodating. The cabin had a ceiling fan that circulated the air and keeping it from getting stuffy. There is an additional floor fan that oscillates. Good sized fridge, microwave, oven, gas stove, there is a Keurig coffee maker but I had a hard time figuring out how to use it, and what buttons to push to get it to brew, ...

„The cabin was perfectly located and so easy to find and access. The place was clean and absolutely fit the description online. We enjoyed spending some time indoors although most of our time was spent exploring the town. Diana and Phillip were so easy to communicate with and always available. Checking in and out was a breeze. I would recommend this place to families and small groups, the location is very convenient. “

„We spent the New Years holiday at Salty Bear cabin and had a lovely stay. While the cabin is charmingly rustic, it was not lacking in modern comforts. The heating worked well. Kitchen was well-appointed. Beds were cozy. Shower pressure was strong. Hot tub was perfect. There was one problem that came up at the beginning of our reservation but Renee handled it perfectly and didn’t allow it to ruin our stay. „Lazy Bear Lodge is a great West Shore place for summer activities; ideal for spending days at Meeks, Chambers, or heading up to float the Truckee. Kitchen had everything we needed. The front seems pretty hemmed in by the neighbors but the back of the property opens up to the woods. We got to see a bear and her two cubs roll past one evening which was exciting for the kids.
