Driving from Holmavik to Isafjordur. Fjords are BEAUTIFUL!! These pictures simply can't do them justice. This was such a remote area, I saw under 10 other cars in my 4.5 hour drive. In fact, on that note, the drive is only suppose to take 3 hours, but the scenery was so beautiful I kept driving slower and slower to look at it all and "take it all in"... Not to mention stopping a lot to take pictures... #waterlust
Heydalur is one of my favorite finds in Iceland. Located about an hour and a half from ÍsafjörĂ°ur, we stumbled upon Heydalur when we were looking for a more remote place to ride horses. Heydalur has a guesthouse, camping facilities, a restaurant, horseback riding, kayaking, and many other activities. There are also a few outdoor hot pools, and a heated swimming pool in their lovely greenhouse. At ISK 1200 (about $10) per person, per night to camp, a stay at Heydalur is a total steal. I'd go back in a heartbeat! #TroverDetour

Belle chambre dans cadre depaysant
Charlanet hotel perdu au milieu de la nature. Chambre triple tres confortable. Tres popre. Accueil chaleureux par la doyenne. Acces aux hot pools a 2mn de la chambre avec piscine au milieu des arbres fruitiers. Je recommanfe fortement!

HÎtel trÚs bien situé, plein "centre ville", propre et avec un excellent petit déjeuner (inclus). Par contre, les chambres de 4 sont vraiment petites (pour 4), et les 2 qui dormiront dans le canapé seront vraiment punis....

Friendly staff, clean room and good food. But please change the carpet on the fifth floor, just awful and damaged. This takes away from the rest. Thanks again will go back
