« We loved staying here and were sad when we needed to go! Char and Dave were excellent hosts and we felt like we were staying with our favorite aunt and uncle! They treated us like family. The house set up was great, we loved the lake access, meeting Susie Q (cutest dog ever), loved the pontoon ride, and it felt like a true vacation. We recommend doing the peddle boat as we had a blast going out onto the lake. It was a bit challenging at first but we figured it out. We also enjoyed a firepit and...

« - The hot tub was great. - The driveway was one big sheet of ice! I fell twice but luckily my family did not fall.- A lot of kitchen cabinet doors were broken- The cleaner knocked on the door at 10:15 the day of check out but we didn't think about the time change. We were following the time from the oven clock. - Overall the house was ok. It was close to Crystal Mountain so it was what we needed. We won't spend over 800 for two days at this specific property again. »

« The site was well kept and tidy. Host was very welcoming. We had everything we needed. Cabins are older and not fancy. I wish there had been less dust in kitchen. The estate has "flavorful"well water so bring your own water if that's a concern. I would stay here again. »

« Instructions were clear. Picture window with view of the lake is perfect!! Being able to sit outside by the lake is pleasant. Inside is comfortable. Easy to find. Not far from Sleeping Bear dunes, area lighthouses, area parks and Traverse City. Very enjoyable and pleasant weekend get away.! Jeni H »
