« Bonne taille de chambre. Réception très aimable. Mais, salle d’eau ridiculement petite, lavabo, en fait lave-mains inutilisable (minuscule), lit de 140cm, mauvaise literie. Et situé sur une route très passante, bruits de voitures insupportables. Donc, difficile de dormir et de se laver, embêtant pour un hôtel.... »

« I enjoyed my stay at Norcroft Guest House. The staff members are kind. I was able to check-in early and was so grateful for that. I was offered a slice of lemon cake on arrival (delicious!) and offered fruit to take on my last morning when I wasn't going to be there for breakfast. Dans un village près de Keswick, mais pas à Keswick. Dans ces conditions, assez cher. »

I've been traveling internationally and domestically for 47 years, but I've never experienced the hospitality that we received from Chris and Allison. To say they go the extra mile is an understatement. They go the extra 100. Every day Allison would make us a magnificent, home cooked breakfast, while Chris would actually walk us out to make sure we found the right route to the fell we were climbing that day....
