Llangynwyd Village Hall Marked on the OS map as a place of worship, the building now called Llangynwyd Village Hall was originally built as a schoolhouse by the Margam Estate during the 19th Century and used until the existing village Primary School was built in the 1920s. In 1895 it is recorded as having a school roll of 96 pupils. After it ceased being a school it became a church dedicated to St. Stephen. The building was used as a church up until the 1990s before declining church attendance resulted in it being sold for use as an artist’s studio. It was officially opened as the Llangynwyd Village Hall in April 2014.

Wir fühlten uns sehr gut aufgehoben und haben die Nähe zum Strand und den sehr guten Restaurants an der Marina genossen. Aufgrund aktuell anstehender Renovierungsarbeiten am Dach des Hotels war es komplett eingerüstet, was aber nicht weiter gestört hat. Wir haben - ohne danach gefragt zu haben - ...

Guter Aufenthalt mit Abzügen
Leider war das Zimmer direkt über der Hotelklimaanlage, so dass ständig ein surrendes Geräusch zu hören war. Das Hotel war bei weitem nicht ausgebucht, so dass diese Zimmerzuteilung verwundert.
