« From booking to check-out, it has been a wonderful experience and we didn't want to leave!We're the "city" type of people so we had pre-arrival jitters. « Lovely cottage but not where Expedia show it in the town centre. Longden common is nice and the red lion pub just down the road is a good place to eat. Stairs a very steep so something to be aware of not mentioned in details about the rental. »

« Really enjoyed our stay in this lovely traditional cottage. The village is lovely, you can buy your essentials from the village shop (Post Office). The cottage is well situated within the village and there are lovely walks nearby. Although the weather was brilliant, the nights were getting chilly so we welcomed the log burner which kept us nice and cosy. The host was on hand with information about the area and advised us about the best places to visit in this beautiful part of the country....

« Lovely place for a stay but ruined by blatant dishonesty. Owners advertise on multiple platforms that there is an indoor pool - they even have pics, but the "pool" is apparently at an indoor leisure club 4 miles away. Absolute jokers. Even when i contacted the club- i still had to pay for going swimming. Such a disappointing stay and ive lodged refund request from hotels.com »
