« The hosts were so kind and the bnb was gorgeous. Bed was very comfortable. The room and bathroom were spacious. They had a fan available which was needed for how hot it has been. Breakfast was delicious and more than generous portions with a variety of options. Walkable to bars, restaurants and shopping. Would definitely stay again. »

« Excellent stay at Peterstone last night, comfy and welcoming rooms with glorious views and excellent food too. Special mention to the staff for being so great with catering for my husbandâs coeliac disease too - thank you! »

« Left each morning before breakfast so nice to be offered a takeaway sausage sandwich, thank you.
Got a couple of evening walks and pre-warned about possibility of closed restaurant if quiet but other options not required as lovely and busy. »

« A lovely old-fashioned hotel in a stunning setting.
Comfortable, clean, cozy.
On arrival we were surprised to find nobody there even though we'd waited for reception opening time. Our keys were in a plastic bag pinned to a cork board. Explanations were confusing.
Breakfast was an epic adventure. The gas stove had broken down and a tremendous effort was made by staff to provide us with a very good Welsh breakfast that was well worth waiting nearly an hour for.

« My accommodation at James's Place was perfect for my needs. Modern and stylish design. Fresh and clean throughout. Nice touches such as Welsh cakes and milk on arrival. Great information shared about the local area. Would highly recommend 10/10 »

« I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). »
