Sehr freundliches Personal, sauberes Zimmer, gute Ausstattung, nah an Flughafen und Bahn - wir waren rundum zufrieden. Lediglich das Lunch Paket, das wir aufgrund der frühen Abreise anstelle des Frühstücksbuffets angeboten bekommen haben, war etwas enttäuschend. Abgesehen von einem Apfel war es recht ungesund (Fertigprodukte, zuckerhaltig) und das labbrige Toast mit Käse und Schinken war auch nicht der größte Genuss. Immerhin war es sehr reichhaltig mit abwechslungsreichen Produkten, sodass für jeden etwas dabei war und man auf jeden Fall satt wurde. Würden das Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen.

Empfehlenswert
Sehr gute Anbindung an den City Flughafen und auch die Stadt ist sehr schnell und einfach mit der Tube zu erreichen. Die Zimmer sind relativ gross und schalldicht. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt sehr zu empfehlen.

Great hotel. Very comfortable, well-appointed room. Super bathroom, shower and toiletries. Loved the chance to recycle our rubbish. Also loved breakfast and evening meal. All staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent public transport links and of course so handy for the airport.

Entrance into the Courtyard Lobby was welcoming, with a nice smell, and friendly reception staff. Looking past reception, I could see a very welcoming bar/restaurant area with some sofa areas in front of big tv’s. We were allocated a runway view room on the sixth floor. We were apparently moved from a fourth floor equivalent, thankfully, as the view from the lower floor would have been more Docklands Light Railway than airport. Via the secure and room card access lifts, our view from the sixth floor had pretty impressive views of the Jet Centre and the far west end of the runway. But you could not see too much of the airport activity through the narrow window. The hotel itself pretty much faces the Excel Venue and is only a short and interesting walk from there. The room also smelt nice, was a functional and modern layout with a large walk in shower and spacious area to store luggage. USB ports for charging with bedside sockets. Large TV. Just failed slightly on the cleaning, with an old straw found on the floor by the bed and some room service food found stuck to the room service information card! Nice restaurant/bar area with good food.

This Hotel was conveniently located within walking distance from London City Airport. Upon check in my VIP Access was not recognized nor was an upgrade nor any other amenities offered. Instead we had to be awake all night while the room next to us had an ongoing party making noises, slamming doors and yelling. We were too tired to complain after arriving from Scotland and had an early morning flight. I also was told upon check in that my card charged with the room cost along with the security deposit will be used to have the security funds return and I must present the same card. Unfortunately the front desk agent checking us out then printed the folio and told me the card does not sneed to be tapped but rather it will automatically go back within an hour or two. I’ve arrived back in canada after an eight hour flight and nothing was returned to my card. Now I will have to wait over 5 business days while the bank processes this transaction if and when it returns. I was having issues with my card on my trip so I specifically asked them to make sure the funds are not held up upon check out, to which the check in agent assured me it’s the fastest return way. In that way I can call my card company and cancel my card. Now I have to wait days to get the refund before I can change the card. I’m extremely disappointed in this property as I’ve been leaving nothing but positive reviews on all my hotel stays over the years based on the good experiences. This unfortunately will wasn’t.

Nice hotel in a convenient spot.
This is a great hotel, convenient for the airport and for public transport into London. It’s clean, comfortable and I always get a great night’s sleep there. I do have one niggle, though and that is through Hotels.com Gold extras I am supposed to get a £15 credit when I stay there. I have never been offered the £15 credit and I would like to know why.

Disappointing
Probably one of the worst checking in experiences - extremely slow and no apology offered. There wasn't even water provided in the room which is surprising for a more high end hotel - even budget hotels can offer this.
