Overall, we had a very nice stay here, with two setbacks.One, we had to do maintenance ourselves on the pool and hot tub every day...after paying extra to have them heated. The pool guy came for his weekly checkup and was very friendly, which was nice, but we still had to do upkeep ourselves before and after. The pool and hot tub needed refilling every day. We ended up not even using it that much because of the hassle.A second small issue was that we were sent a message to keep the noise down at 5 PM for hanging out in the patio area having normal conversation and laughter, which seems a bit hyper-sensitive. It is a quaint neighborhood, so we understand that they don't want any loud noise/music, etc...but regular laughter and conversation in the late afternoon while we are on vacation is not too much to ask.Other than that, our stay was great. It is a lovely bungalow with an outstanding location. We had more than enough options for eating, shopping, walking along the waterways and beaches. It also was fun seeing all of the walkers and dog-walkers each day. People are very friendly in the neighborhood. We loved all of the Halloween paraphernalia on our walks to Second Street.Great communication throughout from the Grand Welcoming Team during our stay. Responses were timely, helpful and considerate. The Belmont Shore area of Long Beach is a great place for a restful vacation.
