« First time (in our experience) the actual property exceeded the photos (and the photos made the place look great in the first place). The property is beautiful and the house is beautiful. The riverside setting is everything for which we were hoping and the house simply tasteful and Adirondack elegant. Whole place is comfortable inside and out. The owners are both extremely available and also unobtrusive. Perfect experience. Would book this place simply to stay here and do nothing else. This time...

« This cute cottage was as advertised. The a/c unit was quiet, which I was grateful for. The dishes and cold water were welcome touches and we enjoyed a nice picnic at the available picnic table. The listing is accurate in terms of traffic noise. It was louder than I had hoped, but I was fairly warned. The big shade trees added some charm, and I could tell the owners care about the place and providing a nice stay. »

« We had a great time at the cabin! It was the perfect escape from the city. The view was gorgeous, and the cabin had everything we needed. We also tried to use the canoe but the padlock is stuck, it might be rusted/need to be replaced. Otherwise everything was perfect! »

« House was in a prime location about a ten minute drive to the downtown and other local attractions. We were looking for a “in the woods” feel and this was a great mix of convenience and seclusion. The back deck is really nice. If traveling with small children who are used to sleeping in dark rooms, I do suggest bringing travel black out shades for the large windows in both bedrooms. We found the downstairs bedroom to be easier for our kids. »
