« Situation idéale entre les costwolds et le sud du Pays de Galles. Endroit calme et serein. Gîte très accueillant avec tout le confort et toutes les commodités nécessaire et largement suffisant. Entouré de pommiers (apple store) et de moutons. »

« Very friendly and accommodating hosts. The châlet was spacious and very comfortable with a private balcony with a great view. Ice cream and eggs available to buy on site, and lots and lots of helpful information about the local area provided. »

« Merci beaucoup à Jane pour son accueil, et pour sa disponibilité, en effet elle nous a gentiment proposé de nous emmener à la gare de lindney pour nous rendre à Cardiff voir le match de rugby et est venu nous rechercher à 22h ... Rien ne manquait dans cette location super bien équipée peut-être nous reverrons nous en 2020? »

« Excellent place to stay. Beautifully presented, brilliant location, all the facilities you could want. Idyllic place to unwind, relax and forget about the world and great internet speeds if you do need to keep in touch. The views are incredible and is in the doorstep of all the attractions and of course, the forest. If your lucky enough to be able to book this place, I am jealous. »

« Overall this was a good stay, rooms were nice and clean and there was plenty of space for 10 adults to stay. However, both ovens failed to heat properly which made cooking a bit of a pain. Check in process was not great, only being able to arrive between 5-6, the owner did not respond to any prior messages. Despite this, the local area was stunning, and the house was fit for purpose and good value considering the price of other locations in the area for a group this size. »

« Had an excellent stay in Mitcheldean. The house is very nice with lots of little touches that made a big difference (well equipped kitchen, board games etc.).Peaceful location with access to lots of nice walks nearby.Host was lovely and even made us some homemade treats for when we checked in. Would definitely recommended! »

"Nous sommes un peu déçus… l’hôtel est en fait attenant au manoir et non dans le manoir. Nos chambres n’étaient pas très propres (draps salis, rideaux déchirés, trace de nourriture présente sur la moquette) mais spacieux (les enfants avaient leur propre chambre attenante). La piscine est un peu vieillotte. Le personnel est discret, poli mais un peu trop détaché des besoins des clients."

"The room leaves something to be desired, when we arrived it was very very difficult to find the location. The door outside the room was open. There is an unpleasant smell. In addition, the carpet is very dirty. There are cracks in the wall. What about the bathroom fan, there is so much foam, surely contaminated. The bed not very clean. In addition, our room is located opposite a front door. It's not worth the number of stars given. For deluxe room!"

"Tres bel hotel entoure d'un parc magnifique. Personnel aimable et à l'ecoute, propreté irreprochable, petits déjeuners excellents. Neanmoins, espace insuffisant pour les vêtements, wifi faible et instable, pas de robinet melangeur au lavabo, pas de brosse à WC, eclairage aveuglant dans la salle de bains. Rien d'insurmontable, mais a ameliorer."
