„What a beautiful area, so peaceful and quiet!“

„The lodge was exactly as described. Surrounded by a large green garden and woodland and hedgerow. It is off the beaten track but this made it perfect for a quiet getaway. Waking in the morning to see a deer grazing was an absolute treat. Also got visited by a Pheasant as well as a very healthy looking fox!! A previous review mentioned some dodgy Wifi, but after bumping into the lovely owner of the property it got resolved, so absolutely no complaints at all. Did not go there for Wifi anyway! ...

„Had a few communication problems, delays in replying and incorrect telephone number. Despite that, the property is lovely & ideally placed for town centre and beach. Stairs and parking/unloading of car may prove an issue for some people, just to be aware. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay.“

„We stayed here for a couple of nights on a short tour of the Jurassic Coast. The location is spectacular and you can almost step out onto the beach. There is a lovely bay window which you can sit in and watch the world go by listening to the sound of the waves. If only this had been a nice padded seat, I might not have wanted to leave. Parking is a bit of a problem in Lyme Regis but there was no noise from the restaurants below, which I thought might be a problem“
