We loved our big suite as we were there all evening so enjoyed the recliner and couch in the living area. Not a fancy place but clean and comfortable.

when assesable is NOT ASSESABLE: I booked an assesable room as I use a wheelchair. the room was small but ok, i was just there for the night. BUT my wheelchair would not fit though the room door! an assesable room that was not assesable to enter.

TERRIBLE service!!
Terrible service. Left message for manager every day of the 4 we were there and never got a response. After traveling most of night, shower would not work. Both of us using cane to get around. Phone in room did not work. Called front desk from mobile only to get answering machine. Had to walk to office (with cane). They said maintenance wouldn’t be in for couple hours. Gave a different room to shower in, upstairs and other end. Walked to it with cane again. Waited 2 hours for maintenance to find out they didn’t come on week-ends! Housekeeper helped to find a different room. Left message to get some kind of accommodation for the inconvenience, especially being disabled, but no response. Never stay here.

Received a room with king bed when 2 queens were booked. Owner would not give me a price difference refund. It smelled and was run down. Gives Super 8 hotel chain a bad representation.

Blood Stains in the Tub?
It is a shame, because the place was in great shape with the exception of the bathroom. Need to call a plumber, badly. Toilet tips side-to-side off the floor with the force of a small child. Continual shower leak filled the ice bucket in 48 seconds. Guessing, but over 1 gallon a minute? And the non-slip mat in the tub was a fun mixture of dark brown mud, with a little bloody-red mixed-in. Where the mat stayed attached to the tub, that is. Blood-in-the-shower kinda un-does any thumbs-up, for me.

It was very clean. Bed could of been better. You could tell it had a lot of people on it. Very lumpy. Check in person was not very friendly. And check out was a little better. It was after 6 am when i checked out and they only had half the breakfast out.

The highway noise was difficult to sleep through. I felt like the window was open it was so loud. The entrance at 9:30 pm was difficult to traverse in the rain. Driving through a Hardees and gas stattion parking lot and not hit the 6 in convrete curb that isn't painted and just blends in at night in the rain. I realize that isn't your property but it is an issue for your cutomers.

Per other reviews I have read: Staff is rarely at the front desk. Had to call to get them (they were outside smoking). Halls/stairs were dirty. Upon first glance room seemed clean (smelled nice), but there was a dead bug on top of one bed/blood like stains on both bed sheets/stain on the carpet/bathroom floor had clear sticky spots/dust on top of clothes rack and safe/and TV would only work half the time. Had to walk through a customer smoking at the back door and hallway smelled of Marijuana. Asked for a do not disturb sign for the door (didn't have one on hand), said they would put one on for me..came back to the sign from bathroom that explains about getting fresh towels on our door (I could have done that). Didn't say anything to the staff, as I felt it wasn't gonna do much good.Only stayed here because everywhere else surrounding Kirksville was sold out.

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful!! Older hotel but was fine for one night stay just passing through. It was clean and the breakfast area was a small space but again it was fine for a short overnight stay! No elevator so this could be difficult for some people, we only had a small overnight bag and managed ok!

Our window didn’t have a lock and had a torn screen. A stick was put in to stop the window from being open but it was too short. Added my own block for safety. Room had a musty smell. No soap in the bathroom.

Stinky Sewer Gas
We booked the super 8 because most Wyndham properties are good and don't have issues. In the middle of the night the dehumidifier needed emptied and once that was done then the room filled with sewer gas. We had no place to go so we were forced to sleep in our car or make it through the night. At 72, sleeping in my car is not an option. We tried to get a refund the next day and was told there was nothing they could do about it.

I normally don't stay at Super 8. I chose it because "by Wyndham" was associated with it, so I thought it would have been remodeled. You could tell that the bathroom had been updated. The outside door closest to our room was not secured. The outer bedspread had visible stains. The room smelled of mold. There was a deadbolt, but only a chain lock for added security not the kind you normally see on motel doors. The mattress was saggy and soft. The carpet was old grimy and rippled. It was very close to hwy 36 so there was heavy traffic noise through the night, but we expected that.

Great location. Just off highway and close to a nice although overpriced restaurant. Unfortunately the room smelled like armpit (maybe the vent or AC unit was mildewed) and one of the beds had dirty blankets. Sheets and towels at least were clean. We managed.
