Lodges in Madagaskar

„What makes this hotel amazing is not just the stunning location but the beautiful sweet lady who manages the day to day, cleans and serves the restaurant. Regretfully i have forgotten her name but i want to thank her again for the sandwiches she made for our day out to the Amber mountains, her kindness, her smile and efforts to understand us when we don’t speak french. Grilled fish and seafood was fresh and tasty at the bar and if you are not into kitesurfing, I dare to say the walks along the ...

„After booking owner said that they are closed since a month and I needed to change my whole plan as it was the only affordable hotel in the area.“

„This is a small property with maybe ten bungalows. Unfortunately it it quite close to a marshy area so there are mosquitoes. The staff are friendly the restaurant food very good. There is a nice pool and sunbathing area. Walking to and from the property at night is not very well lit. Realistically the things we found negative are not the owners fault, but I thought I should note them. 5 minute walk to a lively area with bars and discos, and the beach.“

„Famata lodge was a great stay for a couple of nights. If you are doing the RN7 and want to stay close to the airport, this place may be for you. They upgraded us from the Hemingway to the Eau-La-La which worked great for our family. Lots of sitting space. The pool is nice and relaxing. For dinner, they made vegetarian options for me that were interesting and enjoyable to eat. “

„They truly made us feel like we were guests at their property.“
