« If you have children under the age of 10, this is the place for you. Scrupulously clean, this gorgeous old house functions as a preschool during the school year, and has been set up for beachgoers for the summer. It has a giant playroom full of well-kept toys and a fenced-in backyard playground that is every kids' dream. A picnic table and grill make eating outside easy. Gracious, generous host who is very accommodating and quick to respond. Location is great — visiting the nearby Laudholm farm...

« Highbrook Motel was a great place to stay. We were there 5 nights. Our room was very clean with good quality linens and towels, water pressure was great, amenities more than adequate. It was so convenient to order breakfast every day to eat in our room or on the porch in front of our room. We had access to more coffee, chocolate chip cookies and ability to pop popcorn. Front desk is very responsive. We could walk or ride a shuttle to town for restaurants and to see the sights. We hope to stay...

« We were very comfortable in this beautiful, immaculate, well equipped home. Location is great, about 1/2 hour from the main entrance to Acadia and close to the town of Southwest Harbor. The hosts were very accommodating and got back to us very quickly on the few questions we had. Would definitely stay here again if the opportunity presents itself. »

« Cute and cozy cottage in a great location, home had everything we needed. Very easy walk to restaurants and entire downtown boothbay harbor. Dog friendly home, and very dog friendly town! We enjoyed local trails and drinks on the water. No complaints! »

« Property is ideal for a couple or small family. Located off Main Street in Bar Harbor, it was perfect for walks to restaurants, shops, the Shore Path or anything else in the downtown area and also minutes away from Acadia National Park. The place was really clean and had all the basics needed for the week. The owners, Lisa and Rick, made check in easy and were quick to respond to questions. As others have said, this house is a hidden gem in Bar Harbor. I would definitely book again if I ever go...
