„What a delightful stay! The yurt was cozy, well-equipped, and stargazing from the top bunk was magical. Craig and his family were communicative, friendly and made sure we were all set for our short stay. You can hear cows and ducks at night — charming to me, slightly less so to my light-sleeping husband. Still, we’d come back in a heartbeat and happily recommend the Scrappy Duck Farm. It's nearby Fenceline Cider in town and a short drive to Mesa Verde (we could even see the yurt using binoculars ...

„Absolutely amazing place to stay. Love the view. The property was spotless clean. All that you need for a couple day stay. We had severe thunderstorms during our stay and the sound of the rain lulled us to sleep. We felt completely safe. Definitely an experience. Would highly recommend. “

„Although it’s a rural home it was close to both Durango and Mesa Verde National Park, with several good food options in town and surrounding areas. Close enough for a day trip to Telluride and Monument Valley, Shiprock and Four Corners… had everything we needed and more…“

„This little place is super cute and SO easy to stay in. The light switches and drawers all included labels, so finding things was really simple. Lots of really cool pine countertops, tables and shelves (if you appreciate quality woodwork). The location was quiet and pastoral, but only a few miles from Cortez and its assortment of restaurants. If I ever head to Mesa Verde again - which I may - this will be my first choice.“

„Great, privately located house with million dollar views! We absolutely loved the large attached deck with what must be the largest hot tub on the market. A fantastic place to socialize and eat while enjoying the outdoors and fantastic views. We could have spent all day out there. But the house is just as nice. „Overall it was very pleasant and quiet. Lots of deer, turkeys and one bear. The most well behaved cat also lives there under the porch. Hot tub and hammockwas very relaxing. Cobwebs on most light fixtures, mattresses in both upstairs and downstairs main bedrooms were worn out. A couple cooking pots were so old and worn out, they were not usable. Minor things, but very fixable. Artwork was beautiful!“
