He was extremely helpful and very accommodating to our needs.The accommodations were as described-and more than I expected. All of the amenities appeared to be very well thought out and prepared to provide a comfortable stay. The location was absolutely perfect and within walking distance of anything in downtown Manteo. We will definitely book again.

I spent 2 nights in this wonderful VRBO. Perfect location, walkable to downtown Manteo and in a quiet neighborhood. Exceptionally clean and had everything I needed for my short stay. I'll definitely stay here again when I visit again!

I arrived on Friday and was greeted by the owner who let me know there would be construction going on while I had my visit. This was a birthday weekend, intended for rest and on Saturday morning at 7am I was awaken by nails being banged on the side of the house. They did construction all day with loud music until the evening. I wouldn't have stayed at this location if I knew there would be construction. The space was clean and perfect, I only wished my stay was peaceful. Give the tenant a heads up next time there is going to be construction.

Hidden Get away

The smell of clean greets you at the door. Immaculate inside, very welcoming. Perfect for two people. Large bath which was nice. The king size bed super comfortable. Refrigerator and microwave although turntable didn’t turn. If looking for kitchen, this will not suit you. Large flat screen TV with cable and internet. Nestled in the heart of Manteo in residential neighborhood. Super quiet, TLC obvious. Lovely landscaped back yard with lots of shade. Celebrating 46 yrs anniversary. We’d do it again, yes.

Great place to celebrate milestones

The studio immediately had a comfortable and home like feel. To be able to wind down and relax. The host was very responsive if you had any questions. Loved the location with so much to do in walking distance. Loved the history aspect of Roanoke. Also the island had a laid back atmosphere. We would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway.

It was spacious and comfortable and overlooking a beautiful backyard. Patrick was responsive to amenities that were missing. It’s up a flight of stairs so guests with mobility issues may find difficult. There is no kitchen but there is a small refrigerator and microwave.

The grounds were welcoming and beautifully maintained. Seating outside available. Walkable to other downtown locations. The unit was clean, had everything you need, it was quiet, smelled good, and I felt safe. Wouldn't change a thing. Thank you.

Beautiful Charming and LARGE!

The interior space was exactly as pictured and even exceeded our expectations. It’s a great efficiency space that doesn’t feel efficient. It had everything we needed and more and was very clean. The home is currently going through exterior updates which I am sure will make it even more charming. Great to see they are investing in the property. We will certainly be back!

Great location

Loved our stay! Will be back. Bed was very comfortable. Linens were very nice and new. Everything was working properly. Great top floor location that was nice and private and quiet. The garden was great to sit in the rocking chairs. Very walkable to downtown manteo. Quick drive over the bridge to the beach. I’d just say bring your own coffee and creamer or go out for coffee.

A hidden oasis in Manteo, NC

I had a wonderful time staying here with my friend. We were perfectly located in walking distance of downtown Manteo and got to enjoy all this town had to offer. The room was so clean an inviting. The area is quiet. I locked myself out once and the host took care of it quickly. Already recommended it to friends.

Uptown loft the best

We loved everything about our stay. The location of the apartment is super. You can walk to anything just about.We did go off to other places and had easy access to all kinds of activities.Great host. Local people so friendly!

Great location and fair rate

Came to OBX for birding, staying in this place in Manteo was the right move. Quiet town and close to most major bird sites in the area. This place was really nice; quiet area, great location, and even the grounds themselves were nice. Easy process for checking in and out too. Overall great time.

Manteo Downtown

We were in town for the bluegrass festival in Manteo. This location is great for accessing downtown. The space is clean and very comfortable, with ample room for sitting, a good-sized bathroom, a nice-sized refrigerator, and a microwave. I will keep this in mind for future stays in Manteo.
