Okay house, great trip

Overall we were fairly happy with our stay here, and had a really nice trip. The house was clean, everything was straight forward, hosts were responsive. We enjoyed the pool a lot. The downfalls were the location- a few minutes from a small airport, right in the flight path, so every 10 or so minutes all day planes fly low overhead. We felt there weren’t enough shower or beach towels for our group of 7 guests- we were doing laundry constantly to keep up with the amount of swimming we were doing. The AC was strange, we couldn’t set it lower than 70, and we felt it didn’t fully work, especially overnight, we were all really warm and we kept receiving a high humidity warning on the thermostat, humidity was up to 70%…very stuffy. The major downfall was also an unfortunate situation where there was damage to something in the front yard near the road, either before or early on in our stay that our group did not cause, and we were blamed despite saying we didn’t do it. Luckily we had travel insurance for the trip.

Perfect home for sun and fun!!

We loved your home, pool, outdoor area, bags, and games!! Even the manatees who visited! Location was great for many delicious restaurants to get to within ten minutes. The home is in the path of a busy airport but was not an issue … actually enjoyed watching them. Definitely would book again!

Adult Family trip

Wonderful location. Walkable to a few shops. Marathon is great mid key location. Chose this property because it had several spaces for all 5 adults to sit and talk, eat and play games together. House and kitchen were well equipped. Beds very comfortable. Nice linens and towels. Enjoyed yoga sessions with my son pool side. Quiet neighborhood. Ample parking. Saw manatees in the canal one morning. Liked the "smart home" features.

Nice and Relaxing

The house was nice, clean, and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. The pool was big for Keys and heating worked well. The canal was wide and deep enough and there was plenty of room to dock our boat. Really nothing to complain or worry about. Very relaxing, thank you!

Easy boating! Relaxing! Quiet!

Great house. Great location. Great hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. House is well stocked and comfortable. Outdoor living areas were great spots to wind down after a long day on the water. Boating was so easy right from the canal short ride to the open water. Our kids loved the pool and watching the manatees in the canal! Excellent stay. Thank you!

Spring Break!

Loved our stay in Marathon! Place was perfect for our group, canal was fun, and loved seeing the manatee! Pool was warm and perfect after long days at the beach or on the boat. Screened in porch was lovely. So cool to be able to dock the boat at our place… couldn’t have been easier! Thank you again!

Beautiful stay!

Lovely home with everything needed for a great family vacation. Amazing location on the water! Easy access for our boat, made exploring so convenient with location being right in the middle of wherever you want to go. The pool was perfect in those hot days before and after the boat rides. Location, Location, Location!

This little gem was the sweetest treat!! We've never been to Marathon so weren't familiar with the area. Im always nervous about booking somewhere to stay with no idea of the area. Man this house does NOT disappoint! The location is literally in the middle of everything but set back so you dont know it. The house has been nicely furnished and has everything you need. The ONLY thing I found that I felt like could be addressed was the bath towels. They were small and pretty thin, might be time for new. But that is me literally finding something wrong. We all had something biting us throughout the night but couldnt find anything so assumed it just comes with the territory?! The house was clean and spacious, but the only thing you'll care about is the outside! Dock and pool area were awesome! My boys fished anytime we were at the house. We werent too hopeful b/c the house is at the end of the canal. We were wrong! Caught mangrove, tarpon, and even a couple sharks! Saw a sting ray and even a few manatees! I enjoyed afternoon cocktails in the hammock with a book and the boys loved the cornhole and the poker chips inside for game night! Trip was great, we will be back. Hosts were great, would recommend this house to anyone looking in the area!

An amazing property in a excellent location

The property was everything the pictures show and property was too notch. I had 8 family staying with me and we all slept comfortably. The property is centrally located in the keys so access to everything was very easy. Being on the canal made access to the water with our kayaks a breeze. The bonus was the pool and really made this property exceptional. The property management company was extremely easy to deal with, very prompt if i had a question and clear communication. I will be looking at their properties again and will look to use this house again.

Great Boating Location!!!

This property was perfect for our family consisting of 2 couples, our 16 year old son and his friend. We all loved the size of the pool, the protected dockage for our rental boat and really appreciated the communication from Melissa. She was great and responsive to us. For those intending to fish, there is even a pinfish trap and holding pen which we have never found in a rental property. You and your group will surly enjoy this house in a nice quite area on the North side with easy access to Vaca with limited no wake areas to travel through on the way to the ocean side. Hope you enjoy it as we did!

Classic. Vintage Florida property

Loved being at Casa Chiquita, an updated one story on a canal with pool. The weather was warm and sunny for34 of our 35 days in Marathon.The owner was most hospitable and helpful throughout our stay . We took all meals on the large and comfortable screened porch . We loved being so close to the many fishing spots both inshore and ocean. Most every res taurant and tiki bar was willing to help us by cooking our fish for us when we were too tired to do so. All of us were intrigued the families of manatees who showed up frequently. A Fabulous Vacation!

Property was nice, only two issues..one with the pool there was a leak and don't feel we should have to fill the pool each day this needs to be address. Second issue is the location of the airport all flights go over property very close and is very loud. Otherwise property was enjoyable.

Awesome house rental

Everything about the house was perfect : the location (1 hour to Key West, 45 min to Islamorada, 10 min to 7 mile bridge ... walking distance to bagel shop, Walgreens and Marathon Lady fishing). We loved the manatees which would swim every evening to the dock. We loved the pool. Thank you for having us!!!
