« Came to do some hiking with some friends. Central location if you are looking to do the fire towers! House as described, though with an older home, the doors are a little wonky. Kitchen pretty well supplied, could use a pasta pot and regular frying pans (there is a cast iron pan). The crock pot was a plus! Nice Solo Stove out back - we were lucky with the weather and had a nice cocktail hour outside! »

« The inside of the place is designed really nicely with wood framing and rustic features. It's got a serious "hunting lodge" feel with guns on the walls and stuffed animals or skins everywhere. We were so excited to stay here for a wedding in the Catskills. The outside is just meh with a couple of dilapidated patios (no decks), a picnic table and a grill with no real landscaping. « We loved our stay- it was quiet and peaceful. Convenient and walking distance to town and beautiful surrounding area. Beds were comfortable. Sauna was a great treat! Host responsive and kind. »

« The RV is quite comfortable. We had all we needed. The hosts even bought us smores when we said we had forgotten to purchase them at the market. How sweet is that? The RV is located on the property next to the owner's home, which made us feel safe in an unknown area. Both the owner's home and RV however? are close enough to Hwy 17, that you can hear the traffic, BUT the hospitality of Mario and Harley far exceeded our expectations that the noise was of little consequence. :) »
