« Great quiet spot, nearby a hiking trail and fishing stream. Host was responsive and left detailed info for wifi and nearby restaurants. Scenic drive up and downtown Galax had lots of quaint antique shops. »

« The area is so beautiful and its remote location is ideal for unplugging and getting some peace and quiet. The cabin is cozy and very well kept. The bed is a bit uncomfortable for 2 people to sleep in, but that's my only complaint. Would definitely recommend for weekend getaways and nature lovers. »

« We had zero hot water the entire stay. Every guest had to take freezing cold showers. Not only was the water freezing, neither shower drained properly so we had to stand in other people’s shower water. »

« The cabin is gorgeous and the view is amazing. Everything was great except the AC is very noisy and there was this minor thing..we felt like the sheets on one of the beds looked dirty so we went to take the fitted sheet off and put an extra sheet on that was in a closet and the folded sheets in the closet were all damp. May have just been a one time thing hopefully. We will be back. »

« Would definitely recommend. The Midge is a super cute cabin. It was very clean and the fire pit was a definite plus. With the porch lights off you can see a gazillion stars. No views like that in the city. The walking trails are great and go right by the river and its always fun to ride up to the dam where it feels like you're on top of the world. May stay here again on my next visit home. »

« The cabin was adorable. It was very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the surrounding areas were perfect. We went there on our anniversary and really enjoyed the cozy cabin.
