« Such a magical experience! Me and my husband stayed here to see the stars. The last night we were here, the sky cleared up and we experienced such a beautiful sky. We sat in the hot tub and just enjoyed the nature around us and gorgeous sky above us. Aside from that, the surrounding sites and adventures were fun too! We climbed the old Sounding Knob Fire Tower, ate at the Curly Maple, road the train at the Cass Scenic Railroad, and went to the Green Bank Observatory. It was such a great trip,...

« Wonderful location WAYYYY out in the country. It was peaceful, quiet, loaded with wildlife, and we had a blast. The property is clean, communications with the host were perfect, and the log cabin is quaint and very comfortable. »

« Such a cute cabin, close to the road but feels like it's secluded in the woods. Went for a little Dad and daughters trip with my little dog and it was perfect for us. Cabin was very comfortable - had plenty of dishes to cook, beds were super comfortable, shower was nice and hot. The property is big and we were able to explore around the yard, have bonfires, and cook on the grill. Will definitely be coming back to stay next time I need a little getaway. »

« We enjoyed our time at the Bears Den. We were looking to escape and relax and that was easily done here. A few notes: we were short on the number of bath towels initially but found the extra bath towels in the dryer. Unfortunately they had sat wet in the dryer and were musty-requiring washing before being used.The kitchen was well stocked with cooking items for the most part but there were no pot holders which would have come in handy with the countertop oven—there was only one dish towel.
