The house itself was very clean and had a nice comfortable large couch and kitchen island for hanging out. There was not immediate beach access, but we used the canoe provided and our own paddle board to traverse the river and head to lake Superior. „Our one night stay at Kimars’s Resort was amazing but too short! We loved the classic cottage that was spotless, the very friendly owners and staff, and the spectacular lake views. Next time we will enjoy more of the resort’s amenities. “

„We were given accurate diections to the cabins. Sent us a catalog of places to visit snd eat. When we arrived,there was a cancelation so we were given the opportunity to move up to a larger cabin at no extra cost. Very hospitable hosts. We will definately return.“

„Sarah was available for us at all times. She answered all of our questions and was able to give us suggestions on things to do and places to go! We even wondered when she was ever able to sleep! Erie cabin was just enough for the two of us! We enjoyed watching the fishing excursion boats leaving and coming back with their catches. (Kimars resort offers fishing excursions on site, if you are interested in fishing). If we ever go back to the UP we will definitely be returning! “

„Arrived late but no problem getting in the cabin with the code. Cabin was clean, fresh and new. Beds were comfortable and the shower is a nice. Plenty of hooks to hang coats and snowpants to and dry out. No wifi availabe but cell signal was good.“

The cabin itself was well-appointed and charming and the setting is a naturalist's dream. We were close enough to downtown to partake of everything Marquette has to offer, well within numerous beautiful hiking spots, and the convenience store is quirky and charming. We will definitely be back again!“
