« Excellent host, went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Much appreciated!As far as the cabin, we absolutely loved it. Goofy weather (spring in Texas) kept the fish away but the kayaks definitely made up for it. Nice and quiet, but not secluded, so hopping over to Jefferson or the refuge was a short, easy drive.One big bed and a pullout couch was perfect for the three of us, and as others have noted, the huge screened in porch was fantastic. « The cabin was exactly like it was described. The room was clean and well decorated. The cabin was right on the river. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony that overlooked the water.
