« This is a cute little place to have a quiet time away. Very close to the regional park for walks and beach time too. Lots of lovely birds around and cosy and warm inside if heading there in winter. »

« A very peaceful and cozy overnighter close to Auckland - one hour from home but felt very rural and secluded. A real treat to have all the ingredients for a full continental breakfast left for us too. »

« Great stopover, lovely clean and quiet room with good facilities and nearby shops and eating places. Only criticism was slippery flooring in wet room after showering (great shower). There was a slip mat provided but maybe floor could be non slip coated. Otherwise super place for a stopover. »

« Sun Valley Motel is a fantastic place to stay.The hosts are lovely and friendly to deal with. It's very handy to everything, extremely clean, tidy and well-kept and well worth the money.We would happily stay here again. »

« The unit had all that was needed for a short stay. Walking distance to town, and even better was the anzac dawn service was at top of driveway. Suited us perfectly »

« Very generous with milk,bottled water,toilet paper,body-wash etc.I shower in a morning and both Friday & today Monday had a cold shower as no hot water.We had to boil jug to wash the dishes.Could do with a radio or small t,v.Found windows dripping in a morning,needs good ventilation.Had a musty smell on arrival.Bed very comfy,nice and private and quite. »

« This place was lovely, everything we needed. Its well equipped with everything you might need, from cooking to washing to bed and bathroom. The bedding was lovely and soft and all set up so well with great instructions and little notes to assist. Location was perfect for us close to family but also close to beautiful beaches and good shopping. Thank you for your kindness and lovely place. We felt so at home. Thank you, till next time! »
