„We had an amazing time at Bear Cabin! It’s definitely an excellent choice for some much-needed R&R. The cabin is perfectly located, incredibly spacious, and equipped with all the right amenities. The beds were super comfortable, and the hot tub was the perfect icing on the cake! Overall, a 10/10 experience—we can’t wait to come back! 🏡✨“

„Great location the house was beautiful and clean with ample room for our family would stay here again and recommend it. Loved it“

„We had a great stay here for JMU Family Weekend and would absolutely stay again! The house was very clean, comfortable, and in a great location. It was also very easy to get to, with plenty of parking and, importantly for Massanutten, no crazy steep driveway! The host was wonderful and extremely responsive. We had an unexpected situation come up very late one evening, and the host was responding to us even around 12:30 a.m., which we really appreciated. We also loved that the house was pet ...

„We really enjoyed our stay. The house is great for groups and has something for all ages - plenty of games, books, sauna, and hot tub. The host is communicative and able to answer any questions. Would recommend!“

„Great space for many guests with lots to do. We really enjoyed the game room and great outdoor space.“

The house is very comfortable and central to everything!!! Loved back porch corn hole it feels like a. Magical tree house! Wonderful kitchen with everything needed love that there’s a washer dryer!!!“

„We loved the property. We had 3 families that stayed for the week. We enjoyed all the amenities. We had 4 children that loved the billiards and the bunk room. We enjoyed the outdoor games and relaxing in the hot tub. Highly suggest staying here.“

„House was very nice in many different ways but the pictures on the internet did look better then in person but still a very nice spot“

„The property was in close proximity to water park. However there were openings by the fire place and light fixture in ceiling in the living room that allowed insects in the home. One of our guests was stung. And drop off location for garbage wasn’t accurate or easy to find. There were signs posted stating no trash dumping so we were forced to take the garbage with us.“

„Very luxury style stay, felt right at home and the extra details really do make a difference. One of the best vacation homes to stay at. And an added bonus is that there were no issues with heating/cooling the entire home or hot water issues. Very clean, comfortable and host has clearly thought of everything you would need. She was very responsive, replies came within minutes. Outstanding!!“

„Great experience“

„The house was excellent for our short weekend trip. The house has several rooms and a nice kitchen and my boys enjoyed the game room and pool table. We also used the outdoor fire pit which was very easy to get setup. The location is great as it’s close to activities, restaurants, and the water park.“

„Great, modern layout for the family to use. Enjoyed the big table, comfortable sitting areas, ample sleeping areas, kitchen, and the location.“

„I had a good time with my family; the house is very nice.“

„Communication with the property manager was excellent. The location of this home within Massanutten is also convenient. But the listing photos are either old, digitally enhanced, or both. The property is in desperate need of a thorough deep clean, to say the least. We were really disappointed to arrive and find that the property wasn’t nearly what was depicted in the photos, and definitely upset to have paid the rate that we did to stay here. Photos in this review are from our stay in June ...

„This was a great rental for our large family gathering. The place definitely had wow factor. First rate amenities and large enough for bigger families/extended. We had smaller children in our party and there was plenty for them to do. We were disappointed that the theater needed a laptop or roku or firestick to run the theater. Not in the listing... so we had no theater movies for the kids or adults. Would like to see checkout time moved to 11am vice 10am. Since this is such a large house it it ...

„We had a family gathering at Lux Mtn Chalet. It was beautiful house inside and outside. There is a game room where my kids loved so much. The view was amazing and bed linens were clean which was important for our family.“
