I contacted Vacasa repeatedly by text between 10 am on Saturday and 9 am on Sunday to report a slip hazard on the steps at the front of the house. They were covered in thick ice, and I had children and my father (in his 80s) staying with me. They asked for pictures to show the concerns. I sent them. I also tried to remove the ice, but I was unable to. They then told me to get some salt and spread it myself and asked me to be patient while they tried to find someone locally to help. They advised that they would update me. Thirteen hours later, I received the next message, which was simply reminding me to check out. No one followed up with me or assisted in any way. I reminded them that the front steps were too slick for us to use, and still no one came.I sent multiple messages and photos as requested and was not helped, even though I reported it as a safety concern. This is unacceptable, especially because the other units had clear paths. This situation was not because of the weather conditions. It was because no one could be bothered to clear the sidewalk.
