Warehouse style living with raked ceilings softened with tropical palm trees over the balcony, it’s a secure first floor hideaway while you’re explore Melbourne. Quality meets quiet in this designer apartment with its open plan living featuring a well equipped kitchen, sofa bed, full length mirror, study area and balcony terrace, a queen size bed to rest after a big day and a spotless ensuite. An easy walk to trams, train and the MCG.

    Celebrating its industrial origins with a Richmond Football Club vibe, this urban oasis blends concrete floors and solid timber warmth of the industrial with bright yellow sliding doors and black highlights of the AFL team. Warm and welcoming with its distinct entry hall lined with solid timber doors concealing the wardrobe storage and the European laundry with trough and combo washer/dryer, the bold yellow sliding doors make a bright statement. The yellow partitions slide and hide the bedroom away from the living space offering desirable privacy if sharing or optional light letting in the sun and the neighbouring palms as you wake. The living area sets the soul for the space with its plush double sofa bed laden with cushions as you watch the 55inch smart TV, sit back on the cowhide armchair reading a book or delve into some work on the dedicated study desk, complete with wireless phone charger before heading out on the town. The kitchen is streamlined holding all the necessities for a quick breakfast, a home cooked pasta or some pre drink nibbles, complete with a Nespresso machine. The balcony door can slide open to create connection with the outdoors amongst the neighbouring palms with bar stools and a love seat to enjoy the Melbourne air. Heated and cooled with reverse cycle air conditioning through lineal diffuser, and secure with video intercom to check who’s buzzing in, you’ll enjoy the calm and the vitality equally at No 5 Coppin.

    Richmond is the perfect balance of inner city living and iconic Melbourne. It’s the place to stay if you’re going to the MCG, Rod Laver Arena, AAMI Park, It’s home to the Richmond Football Club, live music at the Corner Hotel, the GTV9 Studios (now residential development) – home to the first television produced in Australia and shows like Hey Hey its Saturday, Sale of the Century and The Footy Show. Richmond was a working class suburb filled with Victorian worker’s cottages, clothes manufacturing and vibrant shopping strips – some which still stand here today. You’ll find bargains at Supply and Demand and all along Bridge Road. The Gleadell Street Market is a Saturday morning tradition full of fresh artisan food, just next to Citizens Park. Victoria Street is known as ‘Little Saigon’ with its fabulous Vietnamese restaurants and famous pork buns. For those who love to pose with celebrities, you can find the Molly Meldrum statue at Stewart Street Reserve or Sir Don Bradman’s statue at the MCG. A great little find is Little Frenchie and Co – a French style bakery with the most amazing coffee on Bridge Road. Other favourites are Mr Coppin, Pastarami for Italian on Swan Street, Agapi for Greek on Swan Street or the Richmond Social Club for a pre dinner drink. Vlado’s is a Richmond institute for the best steaks in town. Try line dancing at the Corner Hotel every Tuesday.

    Richmond is in Melbourne’s east, only 3 kilometres from Melbourne’s CBD. It has amazing public transport options including trams along Swan Street and Bridge Road, train at Burnley or East Richmond stations, and taxis or an Uber can be at your door within minutes. No 5 Coppin is around 30 kilometres from Melbourne Tullamarine Airport, with airport buses (Skybus) leaving Southern Cross station every 15 minutes.

    No 5 Coppin has limited street parking with 2 hour parking between 10am and 6pm. Melbourne’s weather is renowned for being four seasons in one day from crisp cold foggy mornings to beautiful blue skies before rain in the evening, or any other combination. Pack for all types of weather from 0 degree mornings in Spring to 40+ degree days from November to March. Know that No 5 Coppin has the best climate control, is east facing, so doesn’t get the brunt of the weather and you’ll always feel comfortable inside.
    No 5 Coppin must be left as received except for bed linen and towels usage. Dishwasher turned on before you leave if there are dirty dishes in there. Cleaning fee is to ensure house is guest-ready for you when you arrive, and guest-ready for the next guests after you leave. This is a smoke free, vape free, drug free stay. Any evidence of these activities will be charged an extra cleaning fee.
