Jeff here! I'm a corporate professional based in Melbourne who loves to go down the Mornington Peninsula. It's got everything that I personally enjoy including fine wine and restaurants, national parks, beach and hot spring. Inevitably this is where I wanted my second home, and so I established Sol.

Meaning of Sol
You're right about the fact that Sol means sun, but I actually named the place after my mum - warm, hospitable, generous and giving. I curated Sol Coastal Retreat to capture all these qualities, so please make yourself feel at home and indulge in the small and big things the place offers.

Sol Bedrooms

Each of our bedrooms is unique, curated with
subtle themes anchored around the ocean and Mornington Peninsula itself.

Mother of Pearl
This master bedroom exudes elegance through the pearl accents incorporated throughout the space. You can almost smell the ocean entering this room.

Red Hill
The patterns, colours and pieces in this room are inspired by Red Hill. Red Hill was so named due to the red rich (terracotta clay-like) soil. Above the ground, the area is lush in greenery which you can soak in whilst driving through windy roads when going on a winery tour.

Sun kissed
Being a north facing room, it soaks in a lot of sunlight, so be prepared to be greeted with sunshine waking up. With the interior pieces bleached with different shades of white, this room truly feels light and airy

Calm from Palm
Entering the room, that's when you start to believe that there is calm at first site. The rattan features and beach artwork add up to a relaxing vibe, like you were just chilling at the beach.

Tropicana
This studio is imbued with tropical vibes, brought to life by the rattan pieces and the towering queen palms in the backyard. Includes a study nook.

House Rules

To ensure a pleasant stay for you and to keep good relations with our neighbours and local council, please consider our house rules before booking:

1. All outdoor areas are off-limits after 10:30 PM (this includes decks, balconies spas & pools)
2. No loud music and/or loud activities which can disturb neighbours at any time.
3. Only the number of guests specified in your booking is allowed unless prior approval is given.
4. The maximum amount of guests allowed on the property at any time during the day or night is 12.
5. Please park in designated parking on the property. No parking on the street or on nature strips/sidewalks.
6. Please note that Spa heating fee is $60 for the entire stay which needs to be paid if heating will be turned on.
