âPrefect hotel for my visit in UES. Staff was nice, Rooms arent huge but they were clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Plus there was a nespresso machine and complimentary bottled water so convenient for an early cup of coffee. I would definitely stay here again. Note that there are at least 4 steps to enter lobby. â
âI read the mixed reviews and chose Macaw Guesthouse anyway - I am glad that I did. It was a reasonable option in expensive New York City and it was as described. Charming hosts who went out of their way to welcome me and ensure that I was comfortable. Short walk to transportation options and dining options nearby. Highly recommend and would stay again. â
âAbsolut top. Unser Zimmer war extrem sauber und die Materialien ansprechend. Die Leute an der Rezeption waren auch ultra hilfsbereit und freundlich. Unser Zimmer war im Erdgeschoss und daher konnte man die Bar sehr gut hören insbesondere als Live Musik war. Aber das tut der Sache keinen Abbruch. WĂŒrde jederzeit wieder ins Wallace gehen. Die Umgebung ist voll mit super Gastro und FrĂŒhstĂŒckslokalen. â

Direkt gegenĂŒber zwei SupermĂ€rkte, zwar teuer wie alle SupermĂ€rkte in Manhattan, und es gibt nur wenig vegane Lebensmittel, aber man muss nicht weit gehen! Und nebenan gibt es auch einen Weinhandel - sehr praktisch :-).

âDas Hotel verfĂŒgt ĂŒber relativ wenig Zimmer, daher kennt man sich schnell aus. Wir hatten ein groĂzĂŒgiges Eckappartement mit Blick auf Central Park und die Stadt mit ihren Wolkenkratzern.â

The restaurant staff including the bartenders were helpful, great drinks and delicious food not one time did we have something we didnât like. Such a great experience in the heart of Harlem!â
âWonderful stay at the hotel! The hotel was beautifully decorated and the room was very clean and spacious. The location was perfect, right near Central Park and less than 5 minutes from the nearest subway station. A great bonus was the $10 voucher per person per day that we could redeem at the bakery or restaurant. âThe rooms are fine (reasonable size, comfortable beds) and the location close to downtown. Have stayed there before and would definitely go there for third or fourth time.
The connection in particular to midtown is awesome whereas the surrounding is not the best - whereas we didnât feel unsafe.
Breakfast variety is acceptable but for us definitely sufficient - just why donât you get a real wafflemaker instead of the waffles you have to toast?
Also like the gym. It only has a couple of items but ...

"Gutes Hotel, welches etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist. Eine Sanierung oder Renovierung wÀre notwendig.
Die Zimmer sind groĂ, allerdings ist die Klimaanlage sehr laut. Des Weiteren war das Badezimmer nicht ganz sauber.
Toll war, dass wir bereits ab 13 Uhr einchecken konnten.
