Ein super Hotel in erstklassiger Lage!
Ein super Hotel in erstklassiger Lage! Die Preise des Roomservice, der Hotelbar, der Minibar und der Spa Dienstleistungen sind erschreckend hoch, aber im Verhältnis zu den Preisen in Miami Beach wiederum einigermaßen ok. Das Frühstück für 75,- $ pro Person haben wir dann aber doch weggelassen! Die Umweltfreundlichkeit im Allgemeinen lässt in den USA sehr zu wünschen übrig. Aber in einem internationalen Hotel hätte man die Möglichkeit, sich davon im positiven Sinne abzuheben. Deshalb die leider schlechte Bewertung für die Umweltfreundlichkeit. Die Lage am Miami Beach ist umwerfend und könnte besser nicht sein. Die Betten sind Weltklasse und die Zimmer sehr geräumig. Das Personal hilfsbereit und super nett.

The pool, restaurant and housekeeping teams were amazing and responsive. The front desk team seemed as if guests were a bother. They were condescending and not particularly pleasant to deal with. They seemed to look down at guests or resent them. The fitness center (really a bad gym) is the worst of any 5 Star property we've stayed. The property is riding on the Ritz Carlton name only and should be 4 Star and not 5. I would not recommend this property to stay but highly recommend Dilido Beach Bar which is open to the public.

The hotel itself is very nice, but be prepared for DJs and music everywhere including at the pool and in the lobby. The pool was crowded the unbelief by 8:30 in the morning almost all the chairs are taken with people with little kids. The beach was also packed, it was Easter weekend so it probably was more harder than normal. Definitely not my favorite Ritz Carlton overall.

Check in was ridiculous
Nice hotel, service was just about OK(doesnt come anywhere near the service you get in Dubai). Check in was ridiculous though, we paid $400 to upgrade to a room that would be earlier than 4pm. they said they'd call us shortly to let us know it was ready (this was 11:30am). The room then wasn't available until 4pm, so was given an upgrade at the same rate, went to the room and it wasn't an upgrade as had no balcony, so was then given the original room we had booked. Honestly, why do people in services industry say they will do something then don't?! Fab Diptyque toiletries were a nice touch and restaurant food was really good.

We stayed during Art Basel, so it’s understandably busy. There are certain expectations from a 5-star hotel, or any hotel, though. During an entire Friday morning, only one of the 3 elevators worked, so we had to wait 20 minutes for one trip. The doors closed too quickly and the sensor at the only functioning elevator didn’t work. My husband’s arm almost got caught as he tried to « wave » the door open to let more people in. Some serious safety concern there. Room cleaning staff only cleaned half of our room. Dirty cups and dishes on the table were not removed and supplies were not replenished. Overall staff were friendly and the lobby tastefully decorated, but the property is old and needs major updates in the room.

The room was smaller than we expected... we booked the partial ocean front and was not impressed we paid less at fountainbleau and had more space and better view There was no microwave in room we had to ask for one and they brought one to room this is our last stay at ritz carlton
